I'm a little partial for the log homes , and the fact it is located on Sullivan Road SW High River.. The Sought after location in Sunny Gorgeous McLaughlin Meadows !! That is the nicest street in High River as far as I know!! Not only do you have the most perfect amazing neighbors, but you will be living on the street that " The Last of us" was filmed.. Yes this cute bungalow was in the first section of the series... " Its a movie star !!" All aside , this is a wonderful neighborhood with mature trees, nice wide street with plenty of parking and a nice little park right at the end of the street that is accessed from the other side of the park ( no park traffic on Sullivan)! Walking trails and the forest area , with paved and nice trails for ever.. just 2 minute walk and you are in nature!! Skating rink down the street and park area, as well as a community Garden if you like . This home is as sweet as can be and will be missed very much! Rustic decor, for our little Western Town !! Fully dev basement in 2015 with plenty of wood features.. new doors, baseboards, Engineered Birch wood flooring , carpet in fam room and bedroom down . A new free standing gas fireplace was installed last winter. Main floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. One bedroom currently used for office . Kitchen was updated by " Wegener " around the 2012-14 mark and are very nice ( Knotty Alder ) . All log exposed up with original wood windows. ( maybe close to being replaced but still are fine) , brick faced ,wood fireplace with little insert that works great to assist with heating the home. Vaulted ceilings , and a gorgeous custom built front wood door.. 7 light fixtures have sentimental value so will be excluded and will be offering a $2000.00 lighting allowance, or they can be replaced tastefully before possession. Again.. I can't stress enough the quiet neighborhood ! Huge lot with huge back yard ( no garage) but private gated parking at the back. Privately treed yard with some lovely blooming Nan King Cherry trees and a ornamental cherry ( will confirm), nice little deck with cedar privacy wall in the back to enjoy those quiet and warm summer nights and the early morning coffees.... .. Back yard is private and spacious. The location is the best !! Check it out and compare around town, and you will agree. High River living is more than amazing but this location has it all.
